Goodbye Attachment

This week I’ve been focusing on releasing control and settling in to a place of deep trust and surrender. Releasing attachment is the key component to manifesting a desired outcome.

I could feel some discord surrounding my labour and desires to birth naturally. The unknown was putting me into a place of fear… “What if things go wrong? What if I’m not in the right hands? What if my support team doesn’t respect my wishes and I lose control when I’m at my most vulnerable?”

I have made a conscious choice to birth drug free, but I have no idea of the hows and when’s of my birthing experience; and this frightens the crap out of me!

Stop, breathe and relax.

Whatever your circumstances, once you have made a firm commitment to your ‘why’ – it is essential to release the need to micro manage and control the ‘what’s’, ‘when’s’ and ‘how’s.’

Grasping at every little detail only blocks the natural flow of events. Instead, try to remain patient, present and attentive to the synchronistic events that provide proof you’re on the right path.

Take action, but be open to receiving your desired outcome in ways that may differ from, and far exceed, your initial expectations.

Trust in yourself, but most importantly, trust in the Universal Laws that govern all of nature and all that is. As Gabby Bernstein reminds us;

The Universe has your back.

So let go. Have faith in your power, then surrender this to a Higher Power, who will undoubtedly take care of all the rest.

Love always,

Heavy Hearts

Don’t be afraid to cry. There is nothing wrong with releasing those tears and letting them flow with grace and ease.

Honour your emotions. No need to hide or pretend or to put on a brave face.

However overwhelmed or lost you may feel, trust that you are safe, loved and protected. The Universe always has your back, even when you feel like turning your back on the world.

FEEL what you need to feel; every ounce of hurt, anger, sadness, pain, loss and despair. And then release. Surrender. Allow.

Trust that like the changing tides, you will move, shift and evolve from this experience. You have not come this far in your journey to be defeated and deflated now. You ARE strong. You ARE Divine. You are perfectly loved, loveable, loving, whole and complete. And nobody or circumstance can ever take that away from you.

You’ve got this.

Love always,

Hayley xx

Life Goals

Good vibes only

A New Year often ignites new dreams, new goals and fresh intentions. 365 days to play with; 52 weeks to explore and enjoy. And of course, as always “This year will be THE year when I achieve all of my goals.”

But what if your only goal was to be happy? What if this year, you made a commitment to feel GOOD VIBES ONLY, regardless of your circumstances?

Yes, we can promise to lose fifteen pounds, to get ‘the job’ or meet that special someone, but all of that will be short lived without the key element: feeling good from the inside. Losing weight is hard without self love and acceptance; obtaining that job may bring a sense of achievement and success, but pouring love into what you do, regardless of your title, position or paypacket is far more fulfilling long term.

Work is love made visible.

– Kahlil Gibran.

As for meeting that special someone? Life feels much sweeter when we have someone to love and someone who loves us back; but without the presence of SELFLOVE, our relationships may suffer further down the track. Loving ourselves allows all of our relationships to thrive, including the relationship we have with ourSELF.

To love oneself is that start of a lifelong romance.

– Oscar Wilde

This year, make a commitment to yourself to feel good vibes only. Allow your highest energy to flow. Witness how you become a powerful attractor when you are aligned with the love of the Universe.

Love always,

Hayley xx

Soulful Sunday #41: Paint A Picture

My Palette

Welcome to my forty-first instalment of ‘Soulful Sundays’. A weekly share where I post a roundup of soulful reflections, each including recipes, songs, quotes, blogs I have read and/or any other inspirational discoveries to sooth the soul.

For me, Sunday’s have become a day of quiet contemplation and simple pleasures. A time to reflect on the week gone by and to consider my hopes and dreams for the week ahead.

My hope is to extend some love outward and to share some simple pleasures with anyone who cares to receive them.

Soul Reflections

If you could paint a picture and step into it, what would you paint? A beautiful garden with wild flowers abloom? A country cottage by the lake? A family portrait of loved ones past and present? Maybe your painting isn’t a place or person, but a feeling; a depiction of love, sorrow or joy.

Whatever colours and hues suit your mood, don’t hold back. Trust that whatever you’re calling forth in your heart will take form on this glorious canvas of life. The universe is your palette, so what are you waiting for?

Soul Strolls

Yesterday, we enjoyed a stroll along Warrandyte River. Ever since I enjoyed a delicious morning in Warrandyte with two fellow bloggers and friends, I’d wanted to return here with my partner. Warrandyte is such a beautiful place. Surrounded by nature, we managed to secure the last table in the sunshine where we enjoyed some yummy tea and scones! Mmm.

Soul Food

I just love the look of this delicious Super Simple Vegan Lemon Cheesecake by Alice Nicholls infused with DoTerra’s Lemon Essential Oils. I love these pure essential oils, which I have been using for a year with incredible results. Not only do they heal on an emotional and physical level, but they taste amazing too. If you’d like to get your hands on some oils, I am happy to share the oily lurrve!

Soul Music

I am loving these Indian infused electronic beats. I have been craving dance lately, a beloved pastime which I have long neglected. So today, I’d like to invite you to move to Dao by Soham.

Soul Brothers

It’s Bonfire Night at home in England, yet I have come to realise that bonfires are not a traditional custom here in Australia. Therefore, I thought I’d share Roger Bussey’s post Guy Fawkes: 5th November which explains the history behind why we light bonfires in England on the 5th of November.

Wishing you all a creative Sunday, may your visions burn bright!

Perspective

when-you-change-the-way-you-look-at-things-the-things-you-look-at-change
We are only ever one thought away from true peace and happiness. With each breath, each heart beat, we get to choose again. To rewrite our story. To embrace the love and abundance that is available to us. Keep your thoughts and feelings elevated, and trust that everything will be ok. The Universe has your back.

In love & light,

Surrender

surrender

Those yearnings pursued or chased will elude,
For grasping is the home of fear.
Imagine with faith in quiet solitude,
For alignment does draw dreams near.

Let go of the Who, the When and the How,
Untether your noose of demand.
Surrender to Faith and simply allow,
God’s muse will reap all promised lands.
