Once we accept the truth, that we are the authors of our own life, suddenly our choices, responses, and the way we choose to show up in the world become essential to a happy, purposeful existence. We are no longer a victim of circumstances.
It’s far too easy to fall into auto pilot mode; complaining, focusing on lack, grumbling about others or our situation… But the more we focus on these things, the more we find cause for complaint.
Today, ask yourself what new story you’d like to create for yourself? What future chapters do you wish to become your present day reality?
More money? Love? Health? Abundance? Generosity? Laughter? Joy?
Embrace the energy of each desired essence and begin to live your story NOW.
‘It’s never too late to be what you might have been.’ – George Elliot
Love always,
Hayley xx
Thank you for sending this lovely note out into the world…I definitely needed this gentle reminder, it’s so not good falling into old patterns of grousing or complaining…I’m going to appreciate the gentle sound of the falling rain instead of wishing for the sun!

A teacher once told me to ‘assume’ makes an ASS out of U and ME (in this case me!) Sorry for assuming Huguette was your name! Enjoy that sunshine Kim 😌 xx

“Today, ask yourself what new story you’d like to create for yourself?”
Every day I remember to ask myself that question is a far better day. Whenever I start feeling off the path, so to speak – like the wheels of my wagon are bumping in the rough terrain, making me uncomfortable in the seat – I open up the journal and ask myself why. Generally, a thousand words later I’ve come across the thing I’ve already known … I’ve been letting my story write itself instead of being an active participant in it’s making.
Today, I’m back on script. And you helped me do that in far less words. 😉
Well said, Hayl!

Thank you Tom, this brought a huge smile to my face 🙏🏻☺️
Journaling too helps me to find the answers I already hold within- and oh the power of ‘why!’
I also love this sentence you offer ‘I’ve been letting my story write itself instead of being an active participant in its making.’
I’m so glad you’re back on that script Tom! Here’s to a magically creative weekend 💫🌈
